Hello at all,
because this is a diver driver forum, I think my question will be right in here!
We are a skydiving club in South Germany and we need for our Cessna 206 (turbo carged) a new motor. This motor must be a TSIO 520C It would be great, if someone have such a motor or if someone know where we can get such a motor. It could be possible, that we get an alternative for this motor, perhaps a TSIO 520M, but this could be a problem in Germany, because - in my opinion - this motor don`t become the "increased noise protection certificate" But it could work, if we have the right prop.
Another alternative would be perhaps the 300 PS motor, which is found sometimes in 182 Cessnas. Have somenbody experience with this motor in a 206 Cessna? Things like estimated consukption per lift / per hour etc. would be helpfully.
I have to tell commercial sellers, that it could be a problem to give our old motor away, because the crankshaft is not ok.
Also it would be great, in the case of an offer, if we could know something about the price, the shippingcosts and the time at which we can have the motor.
Thank all persons answering me!
always happy landings Wally
